Urban, Suburban, and Rural Virtual Tour

  1. What an interesting idea! I don't think I would have thought of something like this! I think another great use would be introducing places where students (or the teacher) may have lived and kind of compare the places. For example I've lived in California, Maryland, Connecticut and Kansas...a wide variety of places! Great Job!

  3. I like how you gave them real world examples to explain the difference between rural, urban or suburban...great idea! It would be a very interesting way to learn the material.

  6. This was a really good idea in helping students learn more about rural, suburban, and urban cities. Very interesting and I think this is a good idea to help students understand what it's like in other cities, not just the one they live in. Good job

  7. Jenn - this was very well done. I really like how you used the features of Google Earth like the 360view, the 3D buildings, and the polygon to help students get a sense for the difference between rural, suburban, and urban.

    This was a great example!
